It’s been so so long.. quite some time.. since I post about school stuff. so.. let me.. just say something about school this year. I wont go too detail… hehe.. starting from January.. I was appointed to be the monitor in class. I really enjoyed my job as a monitor(at first) cause I got the privilege to serve in class and as a part of serving the Lord=). Knowing that I serve a true and living God makes my job more enjoyable. Yay!! But as things grew harder and tougher.. that position was not as nice as I thought any more. Hehe.. I got scolded by teachers, sometimes even failed to melaksanakan tugas, I grew impatient.. so on and so forth. It’s not easy to become a responsible and faithful monitor. I got tired of becoming one but the Lord’s strength brought me through. Anyway, I thank the Lord for providing me Zheng Ru, my assistant monitor. She was a great big help to me. And also.. not forgetting my form teacher.. miss kek.. she was really helpful=). She takes the effort to take the register from the office every morning in state of me taking it. She made my job slightly easier.. hehe…
I’m disliking mid jan and early feb cause of sports.. I have to jump, run, “fly”…. I dislike high jump a lot!! Sigh.. but I still have to face the ever boring sports=S. Sorry if you like and have the passion for sports. I DO NOT dislike all sport games. I still like volley ball=D.*sometimes*.
Then came march, april, may, june and july.. overall, those months were ok for me.*forgotten lar.. hehe…. Sometimes, I think school days are better than HOLIDAYS. Yet, sometimes.. HOLIDAYS are better than school days. See.. I think I learn and “practice” more during school times and… these are the times when I get to reach out to friends and catch up with them. Of course.. HOLIDAYS are the times when I go out and “yamcha”, attend camps which really helped me in my spiritual growth and also rest 24hours??? Haha.. sometimes I get too bored too.. which is not really good..
August, September were stressful months for me. Not that stressful as you think. But.. by the pressure some people gave me.. I was stressed.. time was super slow at that time.. then.. came October 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th!!! I wont forget those 5 days.. it was argh.. torturing!!
Thanks you SO SO much Lord!!! For helping me through everything. Thick and thin you were there by my very side. I am truly grateful that I’m a child of God.

want money?
Hmm.. have you tried going out late in the middle of the night around 1am?? I was really curios and so I thought why no try since you dun always get the chance to. Hehe.. so, I went out 1am yesterday.. considered as today.. to fetch my dad to the train station=). All the other three of us were in the car. There were of course fewer cars, maybe one or two on the road. One thing that caught my attention was… hmm.. almost all the drivers followed the rules. So called lah. They stop when the traffic light is RED, didn’t speed so on and so forth…
So.. after sending my dad to the station, we when straight home. There was very few cars on the road, so my mom drove straight without waiting for the traffic light to turn GREEN!!(the bomba traffic light) By the way.. the traffic light just turned RED when we reach. So.. since there was only a car there and it wont cause any “accident” because that car will most probably go straight and we are turning to our left. And so. My mom when on driving. And guess what??!!! We got caught!!! By a young police man!! =S argh!!! The police man came out of no where and he stopped us right in the middle of the traffic light because it was RED. Hehe… he was clever tough.. he asked for my mom’s license.. and after much “bargaining” haih.. we still got a saman from him. We were caught almost for 10 minutes ok!! =S My mom didn’t want to give him money cause.. ai… those police… they just want money.
Actually.. to say really very honestly here.. hmm.. I was the one who asked my mom to go when the light was RED! Whatlah me.. cause.. I thought.. who cares. Right?? Anyway, we cant turn time back.. what has happen has already happened. My heart is aching right now. My brother who was inside.. beside me.. said: “ see lah you! You pay the saman oh!!” =S haih….. I regretted.. really..
Today.. my mom when and settle the saman.. and.. the payment was… hmm.. phew… dun think I will say it here. but you sud know lah.. it’s hundred, hundred and hundred… When I heard that.. i was like what??!!! This money can be part of the money to buy my hand phone, go for camps and even for more useful things!!!!! The more I think the more my heart aches!!! =S it seems that they are very strict in drivers speeding, overtaking at double lines, go when traffic lights are RED, and one more.. *forgotten..
What have I learn??
Be patient!!! Fruit of the spirit. Lord, please forgive me for being impatient..
Obey the traffic rules even though I’m not a driver yet.
Dun think you can sin when it’s dark!!

The Windows of Heaven
When dark nights are filled up
with troubled dreams,
and days filled with doubt and despair,
i turn my eyes up above
and look to the mercies of the One
whose unfailing love is faithfully there.
For He opens the windows of Heaven,
He pours mercy from above,
and the things meant for evil by dark-hearted men
work together for good through His love
When i feel forgotten and all alone,
unjustly accused and betrayed,
i cry out to One who hears,
who saves me from all my fears.
for i know when He appears,
His peace comes to stay.
For He opens the windows of Heaven,
He pours mercy from above,
and the things meant for evil by dark-hearted men
work together for good through His love
with troubled dreams,
and days filled with doubt and despair,
i turn my eyes up above

friends...
so.. what happened to my blog?? nothing happened. it's me.. I decided not to blog abt certain stuff. Basically, this three days(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) were good. God was really very good. He didn’t answer all of my prayers, but He answered two of them. I wonder whether HE really answered it cos i didn’t expect Him to do so straight away. But anyway, i am really grateful=D! my friend from Malacca came visited me too. we when swimming along with Amos(the fussy yet nice to be with boy), miss Ma, aunty Joy and cute Chien Wei(my swimming partner)being a timid girl=P, i didnt dare to swim across the 2meter deep pool while the others did!!! haha... after 3++ of hours swimming, i am sun burn now. phew... we had lunch at Mc Donald(again!!) with Hui Ying and Lee Ying. watched the Bee Movie.. ate dinner.... talked, took pictures, played and slept. the next day.. my dad drove us all up to Jasin and we(my friends and i) took a bus down to Malacca. that was a last minute plan, we didn’t intend to go Malacca. and... and... we ate Mc Donald AGAIN!!! ai... how boring... took pictures, shopped, and went back home. tired.. *you sud have come my dear friend!!!=(
this three days were tiring but it's good catching up with old friends and spending a few days with them=)! one more thing i can say.. friends here and friends over there are different! i'm not saying that friends there are better but... they are different=).

gOOd nEWs..
Our society is sick with sin. We are totally under sin’s control and there’s nothing we can do about it. God is holy and it’s His nature to punish those who commit sinful acts. This means we have only death and hell to look forward to. But God is also loving and does not want us to go to hell. Paul relates to us how God (without compromising on His just and holy nature) declares us “not guilty” despite our sin.
God’s good news or the gospel has nothing to do with the law. Why? Because it’s impossible to meet God’s standard in the law. Both A’s fantastic 99.9% obedience and B’s 0.1% obedience to God’s law can be expected to be lumped together in the same “imperfect” category. Since we cannot do anything to save ourselves, God took the initiative to save us and that is what He has done through Jesus’ death on the cross. When we believe that Jesus died for our sins, we receive God’s righteousness through faith in Jesus. In this way, we are “justified” by God. (Justification means to be declared righteous.) Therefore, there is no more condemnation for us during Judgment Day because God’s righteousness (transferred to us through Jesus) puts us right with Him and even now we have the assurance that we are headed for heaven. From the beginning to end, justification is God’s idea.

It is by God’s grace (undeserved mercy) that we are justified. But for justification to work, sin has to be dealt with. And it was dealt with when Jesus died in our place for our sin. Through Jesus, we are redeemed. “Redemption” was the term what was used of slaves who were bought for a place to be set free. Jesus’ blood that was shed is the price that was paid to redeem us from our slavery to sin. Jesus’ death on the cross is also seen as a sacrifice to atone (make amends) for our sins. The practice of sacrificing animals in the Old Testament days was the manner in which people sought to be cleansed from sin. Thus, Jesus’ death on the cross saves us from the penalty, power and pollution of sin.
God offers this salvation free-of-charge to everybody. And in so doing, He demonstrates to us His justice, wisdom, holiness, love and mercy. All that anybody has to do is to reach out in faith and receive His salvation. (Praise God!!!!!)

My Testimony...
Here comes....
Hi everybody! My name is Andrinna. I’m 15 this year. I started attending YF when I was in my mid 13 when Joy first invited me. In this two and a half years, I have tried not to miss YF on Saturdays and to fellowship with believers in this warm, friendly place called the youth centre.
As a child of God and a youth, I find YF very important because it helped me a lot in my spiritual growth. Slowly.. from a small innocent baby I became a young child. I realised how privileged am I to become a child of God. I worship an everlasting God – the ever lover, ever infinite, ever faithful, ever merciful and the ever provider. YF taught me the importance of accountability with one another. When we are accountable with each other, we helped each other and in return they will help us too in times of need. Through this, I also knew more about the Almighty God. He has provided me so much in times of need. I learnt from one incident that I should not be selfish and keep things or people to myself. I should share them and not be selfish. My friends in YF taught me the power of prayer. Through this problem, I've learnt that prayer is a conversation with God. When we pray, we pray to a true and living God in Heaven and not to someone here on earth. Prayer is very important for spiritual growth and is not just asking for our requets. It includes faith, worship, confession, praise, thanksgiving and dedicated action. Prayer carried me through that rough patch.
YF mould and built me up into a better person. I have learned to take every opportunity to bless someone and be a blessing everywhere I go. YF also taught me the importance of prayer life, quiet time with God, tithing, reading, meditating on God’s Word daily, serving and meeting up with other Christians.
Going to YF gave me good influence. I learned the importance of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self control and the importance of God in my life.
Lastly, I want to take this opportunity to thank my parents for their support and for allowing me to attend YF through out the year. I pray that YF will continue to be a great big help to all of us in our growth in the LORD.
I still cant believe that I actually wrote this. hehe. To me.. It’s long and I haven’t wrote such a long testimony before=P. I complained to God almost everyday.. How?? How can I do this?? How.. How do I write? What should I write?? How are you going to use me through this?? How? Almost everyday.. I ask wisdom from Him. Wisdom!! Everything seems so hopeless that time. I even tried writing and writing.. but nothing seem to get better until Thursday.. yay! I finally wrote something… something that was much much better than days ago=)! I really hope that through that testimony that God’s will will be done and that that testimony will be an encouraging one. *is this sentence right.. looks weird.
Thanks to Tien Hui=)! Hui Ying=D!! Joy=P! and mum=)!!

The Uniform Lesson
Why are people so irresponsible? not to blame them all.. actually, i was irresponsible too. se.. i borrowed my PBSM uniform to my friend's friend. i didn't know she did not return me until a few days ago when i was suppose to borrow it to a friend. haih.. so, i ended up searching here and there, asking around here and there!=S panicked....... fortunately, the uniform is still with my friend=). *hope that it's still in good condition that uniform means to me. i dunno why... maybe because of the cost and the design. haha...
so.. next time.... should i still borrow my uniform to any friends?? if no... then i will be selfish, which is not really good as a Christian. But.. if i borrow, what if i meet up with people who are like this again??? or... should i see who the person is before borrowing?? but if i have that kind of attitude... I'm showing favouritism and it's not fair to others....
haih........

F- E-A-R
F-E-A-R “false evidence appearing real”
Fear of death keeps us from being bold in this dangerous world. It’s as though we’re not fully convinced that we go to heaven when we die. Fear is a natural response, but our LORD has conquered death and so we are released from the power of fear!
Hebrews 2 : “ [Christ] too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death – that is, the devil – and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.”
